Making Bottle Cap Necklaces is Easy and Fun!

There are many different fun ideas that you can use when making bottle cap necklaces. Each necklace can be customized by using one of your favorite photos, scrapbooking paper, or perhaps an image that you downloaded from the internet.

You’ll need a few bottle cap necklace supplies to get started. Here are some of my favorite bottle cap supplies:

  1. Bottle Caps with Split Rings Attached
  2. Ball Chain Necklaces or Ribbon Necklaces
  3. Clear 1” Circle Epoxy Labels
  4. A photo, scrapbooking paper, or a printed digital image

To get started making your bottle caps necklaces you’ll want to have a work surface where you can sit with all of your bottle cap necklace supplies. I usually sit at my dinner table, and I always spread out a cloth so that I don’t scratch my table with my bottle cap supplies.

The first thing that I usually do is select a few images that I want to use for my bottle cap necklaces. After that I attach the picture to the inside of a bottle cap. I almost forgot to mention one of the bottle cap necklace supplies, an adhesive, this is what you use to attach the image to the inside of the bottle cap.

Then the next item that you’ll need from your bottle cap supplies is the clear 1” circle epoxy label. Peel off a label and place it over your picture. This will protect your picture and give your bottle cap necklaces a finished professional look.

After you’ve made several of these you can attach necklaces to each of your pieces to complete your bottle cap necklaces.

The most important thing that I can stress is to be sure that you have plenty of bottle cap necklaces supplies on hand. There is nothing worse than getting into your project and then realizing that you didn’t have enough bottle cap supplies to complete your project.
